EXCLUSIVE ACTIVITIES

Arrive though the grand main gates of the Knowsley Estate and enter a private world. Manicured gardens, tranquil terraces, off-grid woodland and beautiful lakes are all waiting.

There are 2,500 acres of private walled estate to discover and you will leave the Knowsley Estate with memories that will last a lifetime. During your stay there is a choice of activities including bicycling around the perimeter fence of Knowsley Safari and finishing with a BBQ at an original Canadian log cabin in the woods or perhaps rambling along the lake to a feast in the Octagon Temple designed by William Kent. You can even explore the Capability Brown designed gardens and have a tour of the Kitchen garden.  For the more adventurous, there are water sports on one of the Estate stunning lakes and miles of hacking if you wish to bring your horse or ponies. If you prefer to relax why not start or end the day with Yoga or Pilates in the Stucco Ballroom. We also have the award winning Chill Out Spa located on the Knowsley Estate, offering you a haven of tranquility where one can relax and unwind.

With a whole host of outdoor sporting, dining, recreation and cultural activities on offer your guests will be sure to want to take in all that the Knowsley Estate has to offer.

We would be delighted to tailor a package of activity to meet your requirements.

“Staying at Knowsley Hall makes you feel really looked after! It’s so easy to get to and there are lovely touches everywhere such as Bamford products in all the bathrooms. With the highest quality linen and all the gorgeous antiques on display everywhere you feel like you are an esteemed guest rather than a paying one. The location of the Hall is so close to the city centre that you can have all the fun of town and country together. It’s rather unique. The food is unbelievable our party were all amazed at how lunch and dinner were so varied but still made with local produce – very impressed. We look forward to returning soon for another private stay as our group want to make it an annual event.”
