Exquisite cuisine

The Derby family have been renowned for their hospitality for six centuries and, at Knowsley Hall, we pride ourselves on maintaining this tradition with the highest quality ingredients and food provenance.

Whether it be luscious juicy berries, fragrant honey, succulent lamb or fruits from England’s oldest fig tree – all are produced on the Knowsley Estate and there for your guest to enjoy.

A team of dedicated farmers, gardeners and food producer’s work tirelessly to bring the most delicious of delicacies from our fields to your guest’s forks. Ingredients are sourced fresh, faultlessly prepared, beautifully presented and courteously served making your dining experience a truly memorable occasion. Our chefs can cater for any dietary requirements, ensuring your guests are well catered for.

There are many dining options that can be tailored to your taste, be it a grand state banquet in our State Dining Room, a hearty barbeque in an original Canadian log cabin in the woods or a secret afternoon tea in an 18th Century Octagon Temple designed by William Kent. Whatever your requirements there will be the option to dine in a location of your choice in the Hall or the wider Estate for lunch, afternoon tea or dinner with family and friends.

“The food was absolutely stunning, the choice on the menus was varied and we were delighted with the food quality and presentation.”
